BUDDHA DORDENMA THIMPHU
This place provides a very exotic view with a giant golden statue of Shakyamuni Buddha. The statue is 169 ft tall having many small Buddha statue inside. It was built in the memory of the fourth king of Bhutan Jigme Singye Wangchuk. This statue was constructed in 2015. For anyone visiting Bhutan , this place is a must visit.
TAKTSANG PALPHUG MONASTERY , PARO
Also known as the ‘Tiger Nest’ this is one of the prominent places to visit in Bhutan. It attracts many photographers, tourist, adventurers and pilgrims here. This place is also an excellent example of unique architect. Paro Valley is located 3120 meter above the sea level. The area is surrounded by lush green dense forest and beautiful valleys
CHELE LA, PARO
This pace is situated 4000meter above the sea level. If you are enthusiastic about high altitude mountain passes, this place will give you a thrilling experience. It facilitates roads for interesting road excursion. This pass separates Haa valley from Paro valley. The panoramic view of mountain chains, larch forest and snow capped mountain gives the photographer a breath taking view to capture.
PUNAKHA SUSPENSION BRIDGE, PUNAKHA
From the capital of Bhutan, Thimphu , Punakha is 3hours drive away. This bridge is spanned over Po Chhu River and is 160m long, which makes it one of the longest suspension bridge in Bhutan. This bridge connects Punakha Town and Punakha Dzong. This bridge is drapped with colourful prayer flags. It offers a lush green river flowing below the bridge making it look more beautiful.
JIGME DORJI NATIONAL PARK, GASA
This place is a perfect place if you are a wildlife lover. This place stretches over an area of 4316 sq. km. This place has an exotic collection of flora and fauna. You can find some endangered species like Himalayan blue sheep, Himalayan black bear, Bengal tiger, etc. Beside, this place has snow- laden mountains, striking lakes. MO CHU RIVER
